Barcroft Media appoints Boom!
International media business hires London PR agency for 10th anniversary brand building campaign
Leading international media and TV content production company has appointed us with a PR brief to build their corporate profile. They have charged us with raising profile and gaining wider recognition around the world as leaders in the media content and TV production businesses.
Barcroft Media supplies exclusive editorial print, image and video content for thousands of newspapers, magazines, websites, TV news channels and brand clients across the world, focusing on the ‘amazing side of life’. The company, founded by CEO and former photojournalist Sam Barcroft in 2003, has grown from a one-person operation to a global media business featuring a network of newsrooms in London, New York and New Delhi.
The group also incorporates fast growing TV production arm, Barcroft Productions that produces prime time factual television for domestic and international broadcasters including Channel 5, National Geographic Channel, TLC and Discovery Networks International.
Sam Barcroft, CEO of Barcroft Media said: “We’re often told that we’re one of the media industry’s best kept secrets – focusing as we do on creating news for our clients as opposed to news about ourselves. We felt that our 10th anniversary was the ideal landmark to start building our own profile, and we’re delighted to appoint Boom! as our first PR agency”.
“Barcroft Media have a unique proposition. Their video, stories and pictures feature prominently across national and international newspapers, websites and news channels daily. They are pioneers in social content monetization – they run one of the World’s biggest news channels on YouTube - and make compelling TV programmes for international broadcasters. If that is not a dream client for a PR agency – I don’t know who is!” said Justin Crosby, founder of Boom!
The appointment is the latest client to join Boom!’s TV and media client roster that also includes broadcaster Andrew Neil’s production company World Media Rights, Zig Zag Productions and SportsDirect News.
