Antiques dealer Lamberty appoints Boom!

Lamberty, one of Britain’s leading fine antique, artwork and retro furniture dealers has appointed Boom! ahead of the company’s director and principle Andrew Lamberty’s appearance in a forthcoming BBC 2 series.

Boom! has been briefed to raise the profile of the business in order to capitalise on Andrew Lamberty’s role in ‘Auction Hero’, due for transmission in mid May.

Lamberty was founded in 1997 and had become one of the UK’s foremost experts in 20th century design pieces. With a 2,500 sq ft gallery in London’s Belgravia, Lamberty deals at the premium end of the contemporary antiques industry. The gallery has become a favourite with discerning clientele looking for amazing, unusual and rare pieces such as ceramics by Picasso, Salvador Dali and ultra rare signed Sex Pistols posters.

It is the second TV series that Andrew Lamberty has appeared in having featured as a dealer in the last series of the Channel 4 show ‘4 Rooms’ where he gained notoriety for buying a nose cone from Concorde. Lamberty has also become renowned as a supporter of upcoming British artists and designers including Stik – tipped as the ‘next Banksy’, Ryca – whose work is inspired by 80’s rave culture and ‘Punk Salvage’ co creator Mark Brazier-Jones.

“At Lamberty we have an unquenchable thirst for the extraordinary, the rare and the beautiful – our gallery is a testament to that. Boom! is a great PR partner to take our awareness to the next level.”
