‘Marcella’ to be Available Globally on Netflix

Crime drama series Marcella, produced by Boom! client Buccaneer Media, is to be made available globally on internet television network Netflix.

Netflix, the world’s leading Internet television network, has acquired the exclusive worldwide streaming rights to ‘Marcella’, the new crime drama series from ‘The Bridge’ writer Hans Rosenfeldt.

‘Marcella’, which features an international renowned cast, including Anna Friel (‘Limitless’), Laura Carmichael (‘Downton Abbey’), Nicholas Pinnock (‘Fortitude’), Sinéad Cusack (‘Jekyll & Hyde’) and Harry Lloyd (‘Game of Thrones’), will premiere on April 4th in the UK on ITV and will be available globally, outside of the UK and Ireland, on Netflix beginning July 1st.

The series, produced by Buccaneer Media for ITV, delves into the psychology of a troubled detective investigating a serial murder case.
