Media Ranch, the award-winning Canadian TV production and distribution company today announces it has been commissioned by Bell Media’s Canal Vie to produce a brand-new series.

In ‘The Goldwater Rule’ (w/t) (13 x 60’) high profile lawyer Anne-France Goldwater comes to the rescue of troubled couples, in a new series coming this fall.

Known for her high-profile divorce cases in Quebec, Goldwater will offer advice and counsel to couples seeking to reconcile their marital problems.

Goldwater, a lawyer and advocate has an incomparable legal mind and a larger-than-life personality. She is one of Canada’s most famous and highly regarded lawyers and is known for her frank, direct, ‘take no prisoners’ approach. Whether it is a dispute over inheritance, infidelity, custody of a pet or alimony – Anne-France Goldwater has seen it all. 

“I believe in couples. Sometimes an ordinary conflict can often lead couples to separate, but I believe that in some cases they might be happier staying together”, says Anne-France Goldwater.

She’s a maverick with a strong mind and a heart of gold. This is a series about empowering couples and resolving conflict whilst being very entertaining”. 

In each episode, Goldwater will be supported by a psychologist to offer couples the best advice possible. Filming will start in June.
