B2B international TV industry campaign/ Princess Diana documentary

Overview:

Drive works with producers, broadcasters, distributors and brands to help get content funded and produced. They work with a number of production company clients to help them finance their programmes in the most commercially efficient way possible.

In 2016 the company launched a distribution arm and in 2017 handled global sales for ‘Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy’ the major documentary film celebrating the life and work of Diana, Princess of Wales, built around interviews with The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

Drive appointed us to build awareness for their new distribution arm and together with producer Oxford Film, support international sales efforts for the film.

Strategy:

  • Relentlessly communicate Drive’s heritage, expertise and growth to an international broadcast industry audience
  • Build MDs Lilla Hurst and Ben Barrett’s industry media profiles to create feature/ opinion pieces
  • Liaise with international broadcast partners and producer partners to ensure approval and buy in form all parties as part of a focused PR campaign to support sales strategy around markets
  • Place feature pieces with producer behind Diana documentary
