US cable network Travel Channel has commissioned Icon Films to produce adventure series ‘Hunting Evidence‘.

The 6 x 60-minute series will feature explorer and biologist Pat Spain as he uses his science background to uncover the answers to unsolved riddles and mythical events.

Set to TX in June, the programme will follow Spain as he attempts to solve such enigmas as the existence of vampires in New England and the identity of Jack the Ripper.

This is Icon’s first commission for Travel Channel. The Bristol-based indie’s recent credits include Philip Larkin by Andrew Motion (Sky Arts), Man-Eating Python and Great Hammerhead Invasion (Discovery).
