Boom! clients Barcroft Media and leading US cable network WE tv, along with distributor TCB Media Rights today announce new 8 x 60’ TV series ‘Extreme Love’.
The series, a co-production between WE tv, Barcroft Media and TCB Media Rights, is based on the hugely popular Barcroft digital series brand and features tales of incredible and unusual relationships where traditional notions of romance are reimagined for the 21st century.
Stories in the series include the 21-year old Floridian woman who spends time as an ‘adult baby,’ the 4ft weightlifter who finds love with a transgender woman and real-life vampire couples. The series features five stories per episode and will include brand new stories and expanded content.
Barcroft Media has produced 57 mid-form episodes of ‘Extreme Love’ that have collectively attracted over 290m views to date on the Barcroft TV YouTube channel and over 300m views on Facebook Watch in just 10 months.
‘Extreme Love’ is the latest brand from Barcroft’s digital series portfolio to be developed into a long form series for linear broadcasters. ‘Inside the KKK’ (Channel 4),‘Preposterous Pets’ for Animal Planet International and ‘Amazing Interiors’ for Netflix all started life as short form docs on Barcroft TV.
