Boom! hired as Media Ranch’s international TV PR agency
Media Ranch’s mission is to not only develop content for Quebec, but to also leverage Quebec’s impressive pool of talent to create content for the national and international market. The company’s unique proposition is to produce television that entertains while touching on important current social issues, thus creating ‘entertainment with a conscience’.
Reporting to Media Ranch President Sophie Ferron, we will be handling B2B PR campaign in the run up to MIPTV in April.
The company recently created the first adaptation of Norwegian format ‘Dining with the Enemy’ for TV5 Québec.
Media Ranch also develops original TV formats including 6 x 60’ edgy teen life docu-reality series ‘Too Cool for School’ which recently aired on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation channels RDI and Radio-Canada and globally on TV5 Monde. The company also created ‘Street Jungle’ the parking enforcement format that aired last year on Bell Media’s Canal D.
The company is also the exclusive agent for Endemol’s formats in French Canada. It has produced local versions of global hit shows such as ‘Wipeout’ and sold the rights to remake Endemol formats ‘Children of TV’ to Radio-Canada (as ‘Les Enfants de la Tele)’ and ‘The Last Passenger’ to Tele-Quebec (‘Le Dernier Passager’).
